Tippecanoe Valley Forestry Team
The Tippecanoe Valley Forestry Team was state runners-up in the state contest at the Indiana FFA Leadership Center on April 27. Team members had to identify leaves, seeds, wood products, take a written test on forestry management, as well as preform a timber stand improvement and timber cruising for board feet. Plymouth Common Council Updated on ProPEL U.S. 30 Level Two Analysis
The Plymouth Common Council was updated on the ProPEL U.S. 30 West study by Project Manager for CMD Smith Brett Lackey during the last regular meeting. The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) started the Planning and Environmental Linkage (PEL) studies, known as the ProPEL U.S. 30 and ProPEL U.S. 31 to evaluate the transportation needs of the corridors which total 180 miles across 12 Indiana counties. Plymouth is impacted by both U.S. 30 and U.S. 31; including the major intersection.

PLYMOUTH – Penn, Saint Joseph and Marian have battled throughout this boys golf season to rule over the Northern Indiana Conference. Rochester man arrested after reportedly leading ISP on pursuit through 2 counties
FULTON COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) — Indiana State Police (ISP) arrested a Rochester man after he reportedly led ISP on a pursuit through two counties on May 2. According to ISP, a state trooper was patrolling on State Road 25 in Cass County when he saw someone driving a motorcycle with a taillight not working.
Fulfilling year for Silver Lake FFA
Silver Lake FFA Chapter’s year was busy but great, celebrating 10 years of Agriculture Education and FFA here in Adams County, Neb. Throughout the year, they attended multiple events and competitions, participating in activities such as the Back to School Bash, Husker Harvest Days, National FFA Convention, land judging, CDEs and LDEs (Career Development Events and Leadership Development Events), the third annual Small Town Craft Show Fundraiser, FFA Week and the Nebraska State FFA Convention. With these many projects and competitions, students have had a successful and fulfilling year of FFA.
