MILLVILLE, Utah (KUTV) — The remains of Utah soldier Ballard King Yeates, who died in a Philippine prisoner-of-war camp during World War II, have finally been put to rest. He passed away on July 29, 1942. He arrived in Utah on Tuesday with full military escort, with a graveside service at the Millville Cemetery on Saturday.
Fire forces evacuation of popular restaurant near Idaho-Utah border
A longtime favorite restaurant in Tremonton is closed until further notice after a kitchen fire Saturday night caused significant damage and forced employees and customers to evacuate. At about 9:30 p.m. Saturday, the Tremonton and Garland fire departments responded to Mack’s Family Drive-In at 80 E. New Wolf Pack Way road extension to Hyde Park open this week for public use
An extension of Wolf Pack Way into Hyde Park will be opened to travelers this week after over a year-and-a-half of construction. The new section of the road will extend Wolf Pack Way from 600 South—its current endpoint near Green Canyon High School—to Hyde Park Lane in the middle of Hyde Park.
Bears softball makes deep playoff run under first-year coach
Coming in with big shoes to fill, Jordan Theurer has already proven that she's up to the task. The first-year head coach and former star player of the Bear River softball program took over for Calvin Bingham, one of the most successful coaches in Utah history. Bingham went out on a high note as the Bears won their 11th state title under his leadership last year.

Long-standing Tremonton restaurant has to rebuild after fire
TREMONTON — After nearly 60 years in business, a restaurant is gaining community support after being severely damaged by a fire. Mack's Family Drive-In was founded in 1965 by Mack and Colleen Hansen. The Hansens said they were a farming family until Mack Hansen decided to go into the burgers and shakes business to better support their kids through college.
