Nampa in search of commissioners, committee and board members
NAMPA — The city of Nampa is accepting applications for six openings within its Airport Commission, Board of Appraisers, Development Impact Fee Advisory Committee, Design Review Committee and the Library Commission. The five boards or commissions each have one opening, except for the Development Impact Fee Advisory Committee. To apply for one of the available positions, download an application at cityofnampa.us/serve , according to a city of Nampa news release. “Submit it with a letter of interest and resume by email to mayor@cityofnampa.us , or deliver (or) mail it to Nampa City Hall, Attn: Office of the Mayor, 411 3rd St. S., Nampa, 83651,” the city states. “Questions may be directed to the Mayor’s Offie at 208-468-5401.” The deadline to apply is Monday, Nov. 16. Appointees are named by the mayor and confirmed by the Nampa City Council before their terms begin. AIRPORT COMMISSION The term for this opening ends Dec. 31, 2031, the city states. “Applicants must live within Nampa city limits or the surrounding impact area,” the city states. “The five-member volunteer commission recommends to the city council on the operation and maintenance of (Nampa) Municipal Airport and city property associated with it.” The commission's meetings are at
