Tractor Supply opens Idaho distribution center with automation, dedicated AI team
Tractor Supply has opened its 11th distribution center, a 865,000-square-foot facility in Nampa, Idaho, the retailer announced in a Sept. 23 news release. The facility, which began receiving inventory in August, will commence outbound shipping this month. The site will distribute products to 123 stores in nine states in its first year, but it can scale to serve more than 200 stores at full operational capacity, per the release.

MERIDIAN — Community members of both the two- and four-legged varieties came out to welcome the first round of businesses to The Village at Meridian’s new expansion. “Tecovas is a really cool store with a lot of Western heritage, and we were given the opportunity to come and kind of represent a little bit of what Tecovas is all about,” said Shiloh Tipton, Miss Rodeo of Malheur County, Oregon, from atop her mare Lola. “It’s good for (the horse) to have some people and some interaction, and it’s good for the store to kind of represent what they stand for.” The Texas-based western wear chain was one of four retailers to celebrate its grand opening in Meridian on Friday morning, before the rest of the businesses at The Village’s expansion move in later this month or in 2027.
