Deputies are searching for a Ritzville man who left during his own trial

ADAMS COUNTY, Wash. -- Deputies are searching for a man who left in the middle of his own trial in Ritzville on Wednesday.

John Michael Daigneault, 51, was on trial in Ritzville Superior Court on April 24 for a burglary he was suspected of committing months ago on Highway 21 near Odessa.

After the trial's lunch break, Daigneault did not return to court and the trial continued without him. He was found guilty.

A warrant is now out for Daigneault's arrest.

Adams County Sheriff's Office asks anyone with information on Daigneault's whereabouts to contact the Sheriff's Office at 509-659-1122.
