Change in plans for Freedom Landing Boat Dock project

Ripley Village Council members are looking for less expensive options for the construction of the Freedom Landing Boat Dock project on the Ohio River along Front Street in Ripley, mainly due to a significant increase in construction costs over the past couple years since the original engineer drawings were created for the project.

Ripley Village Council held a special meeting on Monday, April 1 to gather public input on potential changes to save costs on the construction of the Freedom Landing Boat Dock, a dock to be 300-feet in length that will include docking areas for commercial tour boats and recreational boats.
