RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – A local branch of a national non-profit is joining forces with Home Depot to give a Rio Rancho veteran’s home a glow-up. Volunteer work crews were busy fixing Leonard Wolford’s home on Wednesday. They repaired an uneven driveway, painted the house, replaced a screen door, and also helped fix his AC system.

“We identified that this home had a really old H-vac system, and the old swamp cooler was removed. So there was no cooling and we’re having heat waves,” said Dani Oliberi, Program Manager for Rebuilding Together Sandoval County.
