MARY POPPINS Now Running at Red Mountain Theatre Through June
Mary Poppins has returned to the Red Mountain Theatre Mainstage for a month-long run of the family-friendly musical. Donations-only means you pay what you wish; there is no set price. They are clearing out their extra storage space with plans to turn it into a training center. The event was a grand affair, featuring a live auction led by the talent of James Bell as auctioneer, a large silent auction, and raffles. President Bob Campbell, in his heartfelt message, shared that the early estimate puts the proceeds from the China Lake Museum Foundation’s auction last Saturday at over $50,000. This is confirmation of the incredible support and generosity of our community. This is the Museum’s biggest fundraiser of the year. It helps the Museum acquire new displays, expand its buildings, and plan for the future.

IWVGA to host workshop June 12
The Indian Wells Valley Groundwater Authority (IWVGA) is preparing a Periodic Evaluation of the GSP in compliance with the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) and State Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) regulations. This evaluation of the GSP could result in amendments to the GSP. Accordingly, the IWVGA will be holding a workshop to present the requirements and content of the Periodic Evaluation and potential GSP Amendments.

Burros pole vaulter competed at Masters
Burroughs pole vaulter Julian Buchan, along with Head Coach and pole vaulter coach Tony Martin, competed at the CIF-SS Masters Meet at Moorpark High. Buchan, who made his first appearance at the Masters in pole vault, gave a valiant effort and finished in a three-way tie for ninth place with 14 feet, six-inch jump. Armando Gamez named new Coyotes volleyball coach
In its second year, the Cerro Coso volleyball program will be under the guidance of first year college coach Armando Gamez. The new Coyotes coach has already begun recruiting for his first season at Cerro Coso with five new recruits. Gamez is taking over a program that in its debut season finished 2-13 overall and 2-10 in Inland Empire Athletic Conference.
