UVM men’s lacrosse advances to America East championship
ALBANY, N.Y. (WCAX) - After trailing for much of Thursday’s semifinal game against UMBC, the Vermont men’s lacrosse team scored twice in under 20 seconds with less three minutes to go to take the lead for good, as the Cats downed the Retrievers 10-8. Vermont was down 8-5 late in the third quarter, before five unanswered goals put the game away. Tristan Whitaker tied the game at eight apiece, before Max Frattaroli scored the ninth and game-winning goal.
Vermont completes comeback for thrilling win vs. UMBC
