Richmond Police investigating shooting on East Brookland Park Boulevard

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond Police Department (RPD) is investigating a shooting on East Brookland Park Boulevard that occurred Sunday evening.

According to police, at around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 1400 block of East Brookland Park Boulevard.

When officers arrived at the scene, they received additional information about an adult male who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Police said the victim was taken to a local hospital in a private car to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives determined that the victim was shot on the 1400 block of East Brookland Park Boulevard.
