Jury Trial Set for Keith Bass in Excelsior Springs Double Homicide
Excelsior Springs, MO – Jury trial has been scheduled for Keith Bass, the suspect in the double homicide of Theresa Bass and Bobby Neal Jr. Theresa Bass was shot and killed on September 7, 2022, in her Excelsior Springs home. Her friend, Bobby Neal Jr., who was also shot during the incident, succumbed to his injuries on March 19, 2023.

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS, Mo. – A house fire at 104 Southview Drive caused severe smoke and water damage on Thursday, displacing a family and injuring two dogs. Neighbors reported hearing a loud explosion just before the fire began. A girl who lives in the home arrived home from school to find smoke coming from the house and alerted a neighbor, who called the fire department.

Injured driver taken for treatment after crash SE of Odessa
LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MO - A single-vehicle accident injured the driver in Lafayette County Sunday morning. State troopers say the crash at 2244 Shaw School Road occurred as a vehicle driven by Abdul Hakimi, 34, lost control on gravel and hit an embankment. He was transported to Centerpoint Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
