The weather is getting warmer, which means silent disco is back at Richmond's 17th Street Market.

Why it matters: A monthly Saturday pop-up where everyone gets to shake their πŸ‘ in public and in silence with strangers is just what the doctor ordered.

How it works: For $20, you get a pair of wireless headphones from UnlockingRVA with up to three different stations that play music from live, local DJs from 7-10pm.

  • The best part? You can bring the headphones to any of the restaurants located within the market, like Havana 59 or Rosie Connolly's Pub Restaurant.
  • The monthly event runs until October.

The latest: This past Saturday was moved inside to The Foundation due to weather.

  • Future locations will include the Hardywood on Ownby Lane and Dogwood Dell Amphitheater.

The bottom line: It's time to dance like no one's watching. Or listening.
