Mitchell County man arrested for savagely beating a woman
RICEVILLE, Iowa – A domestic dispute led to a big response from law enforcement Monday in Mitchell County. Deputies responded to a reported domestic dispute at 109 Woodland Avenue in Riceville. The Mitchell County Sheriff’s Office says they identified a female victim and determined that Anthony Nicholas Evenson, 31 of Riceville, was responsible for her injuries. Court documents say those injuries included a suspected broken nose, black eyes, heavy bruising, and abrasions.
