Elevators stop working at Jenny Lind Hall Apartments
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - For the second time this year, the elevators have stopped working in the Jenny Lind Hall Apartments near downtown Springfield. A letter Millennia Housing Management sent to residents, obtained by KY3 news, states the two elevators are no longer working and will have to be replaced. It goes on to read a temporary fix will be sought until the elevators are replaced.
Missouri Department of Transportation to make repairs to highway near sinkhole
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - One lane of a busy highway is shut down in Springfield because of a damaged pipe. Traffic on U.S. 60 near Highway 65 could be slowed down for weeks. Missouri Department of Transportation says a damaged pipe in the median close to a sinkhole was repaired last year. Repairs will cause them to dig up the roadway in that area again.
