Franklin man found guilty of violent threats and disorderly conduct against former employer
A Franklin man, Jesse Lamont Jackson, has been found guilty of threats of violence and disorderly conduct against a former employer. According to the Redwood County Attorney’s Office, on Dec. 7, 2022 law enforcement received a 911 call reporting Jackson had threatened to kill and beat up two people at an area business. Court documents state Jackson had been fired from that business for being unreliable. Jackson had an outstanding bill with that business, and the amount had been taken from his final paycheck.
Coon Rapids man sentenced for fentanyl possession during arrest
A Coon Rapids man, Tanner Nicholas Delaney, age 24, was sentenced in Redwood County Court for felony-level drug possession over an incident last February. According to court documents, on Feb. 4, the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office was called to an area business on a report Delaney was there. Delaney had current warrants out for his arrest. Delaney was found in the parking lot and taken into custody. During a search, he was found with fentanyl on his person, and he admitted smoking it two hours earlier.
Westbrook woman sentenced for participating in Walnut Grove burglaries
A Westbrook woman, Christael B. Barber, age 29, was found guilty in Redwood County Court of felony-level burglary after participating in a series of thefts in Walnut Grove. According to court documents, on May 28, 2023, a Redwood County deputy spoke with the victim in Walnut Grove. The victim stated several items had been taken from his garage, including a saw. He also stated he saw a Dodge pickup truck in the area, with three people in it.
