2 suspects at large after armed robbery at Arco gas station on Peninsula

( KRON ) — Authorities are looking for two suspects involved in an armed robbery Tuesday afternoon at an Arco gas station, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.

The robbery happened around 4:15 p.m. on the 1800 block of Woodside Road in unincorporated Redwood City where two victims were standing outside of the gas station, according to SMCSO. Two suspects in their early 20s robbed them of their personal belongings.

The suspects also made criminal threats and brandished a firearm during the robbery, SMCSO said.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic man with long hair. The second suspect is described as a biracial man with long hair and a small mustache.

The two men ran away towards Santa Clara Avenue, authorities said. The robbery is being investigated as an isolated incident.

Neither of the two victims were injured.
