RED SPRINGS — Law enforcement has confirmed that “several subjects” have been shot and at least one person has died at Pearsall Road and Children’s Road outside of Red Springs, today.
Sheriff Burnis Wilkins said deputies, Homicide and Crime Scene investigators “are working a death investigation.”
More details are expected to be made available in the coming days.
Pembroke man dies in shooting
LUMBERTON —Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are investigating the death of a Pembroke man, according to a report released to local media earlier this week.
On April 20 at about 1:30 p.m., Robeson County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to 2663 W. McDuffie Crossing Road, Lumberton, in reference to a report of a person who was shot.
Kenny Dean Locklear, 47, was found dead upon the arrival of the deputies.
The investigation is ongoing. The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Division is investigating the case.

Rowland man wanted in April 14 homicde
ROWLAND —Robeson County Sheriff’s Office investigators are searching for a suspect in connection to a homicide that took place April 14. At approximately 5:50 a.m., deputies responded to 150 Levi Road, Rowland in reference to an individual who had been shot. Lydia Ann Hoyos, 36, of Rowland was found dead inside her residence.
Scotti Dewayne Tyler, 38, of Rowland is wanted in connection to the death and and nine counts of discharging a weapon into an occupied dwelling.
Tyler and Hoyos were recently in a relationship and shared two (2) children.
