McQueen: low water levels led to pool season's cancellation
(Shenandoah) -- Shenandoah officials are defending the decision to keep the city's outdoor pool closed this summer. Following a recent Shenandoah Parks and Recreation Board of Directors meeting, city officials announced last week that the Wilson Aquatic Center won't open for the 2024 season. Shenandoah Mayor Roger McQueen tells KMA News the city's low water levels led to a consensus to keep the pool closed.
