RAYNHAM, Mass. (WWLP) – A man was shot and killed by a police officer in Raynham.

Sword-wielding man attacks passersby in London, killing 13-year-old boy and injuring 4 others

According to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, it happened after the man allegedly pulled a gun on officers who were called to his apartment on Tuesday. The Bristol County District Attorney says it was the second time officers were called to Stephen Maclean’s apartment for a well-being check in less than a day.

The DA says his girlfriend called for the check after she said he was fired from his job for allegedly showing up drunk. He had been arrested earlier in the week for disorderly conduct and was on probation for an OUI.

Police say when they got to his apartment, he pulled the gun immediately after opening the door. Two officers then shot at him. Police say those two officers are now on administrative leave while they investigate the incident.
