Man arrested after failed attempt to break into business with stolen car
SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Deputies arrested a man who slammed a stolen car into the wall of a business. According to the Spokane Valley Sheriff’s Office, 20-year-old Damien Ocacio tried to break into a business near North Farr Road and East Main Tuesday night. After failing to break in, Ocacio drove away. Deputies said that he later came back, only to fail again.
Kootenai County Sheriff at odds with former candidate for his job
HAYDEN, Idaho – Kootenai County Sheriff Bob Norris is still battling a candidate he defeated four years ago. John Grimm, who ran an unsuccessful bid for the sheriff’s office in 2020, appeared at a Hayden City Council meeting on Tuesday and claimed that the sheriff’s office did not properly charge an off-duty officer with a DUI after he allegedly crashed a vehicle and fled the scene.
