Where's your reservation?
Good day dear readers. I'm Gail Ciampa, Journal food and dining editor. Last weekend I made a whooper when clicking for an online reservation. My husband and I were meeting friends for dinner at the Water Street Kitchen & Bar in Wiscasset Maine. I said I'd make reservations. I googled the restaurant on my phone. It popped right up, or so I thought. I reserved a table for 4 at 6 p.m. I was sort of shocked that all times between 5 and 7 were available but figured that it being a week ahead was the reason.

The fourth graders spent time in their outdoor classroom all year, observing several plants and animals. Each student selected a plant or animal to research, and then the class combined their notes to create a story about Noodle, a fox looking for mice to eat in their riverfront classroom.
