More Stone Way Construction Kicks Off
Well, now there’s more work going on, but this is to actually improve the roadway itself. You may have noticed already, as it was due to kick off the weekend of October 17th. Fremont Neighbor previewed the work back in February, and we reprinted that article here under our sharing agreement. In a nutshell, the work is intended to improve the crossing points for pedestrians at N 36th Street, N 38th Street, and N Allen Place (up near Tutta Bella). If you saw the cones and crews on SW Wildwood Place this morning, no, they’re not installing the protected bicycle lane yet – but this work is related. WSB contributor Anne Higuera stopped to ask.
