Despite E.D. White winning Game 1, Vandebilt rallied back, winning Games 2 and 3 to secure their fourth consecutive berth to the Division II Select State Semifinals. Coach Chad Menard commended his team's perseverance after bouncing back from a Game 1 loss. Vandebilt's pitching, particularly Owen Gaudet and John Wade, played a crucial role in controlling the series. Bryce Thibodeaux's relief pitching sealed the win in Game 3.
