The Leon County Sheriff’s Office Livestock Team and Animal Control removed 33 pigs from Judy Du Bois’s property on Robin Road over the weekend, according to a press release shared Wednesday. The news comes less than a week after the rescue owner was arrested and accused of criminal animal cruelty.

Derylmaize Jackson appealed his conviction of one count of felony murder, one count of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
