    Teen, 16, clinging to life after broad-daylight NYC shooting hours after boy, 11, shot

    A 16-year-old boy is clinging to life after he was shot in broad daylight Tuesday in Queens, cops said.

    The shooting came hours after an 11-year-old boy was shot in NYCHA’s Brownsville Houses in Brooklyn, authorities said.

    The older teen was blasted in the groin and left wrist on Dickens Street near Mott Avenue in the Rockaways around 1:30 p.m., police said.

    He was taken to Cohen Children’s Medical Center, where he was initially listed in stable condition, but his status had declined to critical by around 3:10 p.m., authorities said.

    Details on the motive for the violence, or whether the teen was targeted, were unclear.

    No arrests have been made, and no suspect description was immediately available.

    The younger boy was shot in the arm on the third floor of a NYCHA building late Monday, cops said. He is expected to survive.

    The motive for that crime also remains under investigation.
