EggsTc , a delicious breakfast and brunch restaurant in Queen Creek at 20852 E Ocotillo Rd Ste D105 , hopes to find a new home following its impending closure.

Owner Theresa Novak recently posted on social media that they have been notified to leave the property by April 30. The landlord has decided to replace the family-owned concept with a corporate or franchised business that is willing to pay more. As a result, the company has decided to look for a new home elsewhere. Novak tells What Now Phoenix that she is looking to stay in the Queen Creek/ San Tan area. They hope to stay open through the last weekend of the month.

“These are my people! I fell in love with them when I moved from Chandler to QC in 2001,” Novak tells What Now Phoenix. “I worked at Queen Creek Cafe and managed it, then opened San Tan Cafe, and now I’m here. I have watched their kids grow up, and some of them have worked for me and then get married and have their own kids… this is the reason I do this. Because I love these people! They are part of my family. It wouldn’t make sense to go somewhere else.”

The neighborhood breakfast spot has been in the Queen Creek Village Center since 2010 and has survived the pandemic, heat waves, and more. The welcoming environment not only serves delicious breakfast and lunch options but also serves as a gallery featuring local artists. As the restaurant hosts its last few weeks near the shopping mall, the owners are frantically looking for a new place to call their home and hope to find a new location before the end of the month.

“After nearly 13 years of serving all of you at this location, I received an email stating we needed to be out by April 30,” according to the announcement . “The same thing just happened to the little tattoo shop three doors down from us. No option to renew the lease, just get out, a corporate Company is moving in! I don’t know what the future holds for us or what God has planned, but I am diligently looking for a new space to move to. We will see! I believe that when God closed a door He opens others, but I’m not sure if He is saying it’s time to get out before things get harder, or if there is a better spot for us! If anyone has any ideas or leads on a place (it must have an exhaust hood), please let me know.”
