JOPLIN, Mo. (KOAM) — About 12:30 p.m. Monday reports of a gas leak at 15th Street Walmart alerted Joplin E-911. 12:45 p.m. Joplin Fire summoned Spire Gas to respond. Tipsters tell us some employees were not feeling well. Some were transported to the hospital showing signs of nausea, lightheadedness, vomiting.

‘We’ve Never Even Come Close To Being Hit’: Homes In Ottawa Co. Damaged In Possible Tornado
People in Miami are cleaning up damage Wednesday night after a tornado hit several homes just south of town. The Ottawa County Sheriff says no one has been injured. Dana Morisset and her family are shaken up after the storm, but at least they’re safe and feel fortunate the damage wasn’t worse.
Tornado Damage In Miami, Oklahoma
A brief tornado touchdown in Miami, Oklahoma last night has left some damage. Some homes were damaged and some trees knocked down. Photos taken by Miami Mayor Bless Parker showed trees down and structure damage. There are no reports of any injuries.
