Second man charged with killing National Guard officer in Washington bragged about crime, records show
A man is accused of being a willing accomplice in a drive-by shooting that led to the murder of a National Guard officer in Fife last year. Jedidiah Taimi, 18, has been charged with first-degree murder, two counts of second-degree murder, drive-by shooting, unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle and second-degree unlawful possession of a firearm, court records show. He is accused of partaking in the killing of 23-year-old Rudolph King III on Sept. 12, 2023.

Bonnie J. Smith, age 52, of Puyallup, Washington died on Monday, May 6, 2024, surrounded by the love and care of her family. Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2024, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Kevin Magner as Celebrant. A private burial will follow at St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery, Maple Lake. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the church. In honor of Bonnie, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
