Charges are allegations only. All arrested persons are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

PROVO, Utah ( ABC4 ) — Police are looking for two people who allegedly fled from authorities and crashed their vehicle, landing on top of two cars on the lawn of a Provo home.

Just after midnight on April 7, video captured a vehicle flying through the air , flipping several times and landing on top of two parked cars. Witnesses filmed two people jumping out of the totaled vehicle and running away.

Police say the incident occurred after they attempted to stop the vehicle for “driver license and moving violations” and the driver fled. While they have identified the suspects, they are asking the public for help locating them.

Amairany Axel Alvarado, 29, was allegedly driving the vehicle during the incident. Police say she is approximately 5 feet 2 inches and 125 pounds with long dark brown hair.

The police also released the information of the passenger, Alejandro Andres Demery, 32, however, he is not a suspect in this specific case. Police say they released his information because he is “a wanted felon who is currently being sought by the U.S. Marshals Service.”

The incident left two other vehicles and the porch of a home damaged. While we don’t know the condition of the suspects, no one else was injured in the crash.

Alvarado could face several charges including fleeing or eluding officers, criminal mischief, reckless driving, leaving the scene of a crash and driving on a denied license.

If you have information that could aid in locating Alvarado and Demery, email Lt. Laursen at tlaursen@provo.org or call 801-852-7308.
