Allied Health graduates pinned at ceremony
GOLDSBORO — Wayne Community College’s Workforce Continuing Education Services honored graduates of its Allied Health programs at a recent ceremony. Graduates of the College’s Nurse Aide I, Dialysis Technician, Phlebotomy, Pharmacy Technician, and Central Sterile Processing programs received certificates and pins to recognize their transition from students to healthcare professionals.

Seymour Johnson chosen in Air Force pilot program
(The Center Square) – Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina is one of six locations chosen for the experimental Air Task Forces, the Department of the Air Force says. Temporary stop to divestiture of F-15E combat squadron at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base
The Air Force has temporarily been stopped from divesting an F-15E combat squadron at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro. In March, the Air Force announced its plans to divest 26 aircraft at the base, eliminating about 520 jobs from Wayne County, one of the most economically distressed counties in the state.
