SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)—Every time we go outside, we will likely see at least one squirrel, but have you ever seen a white one?. It’s a rare and captivating sight that stopped me in my tracks. Darting down the sidewalk and up the trees in the Broadmoor neighborhood, this unique critter with white fur stood out among the rest.
Shreveport council considering closing bars two hours earlier
The Shreveport City Council has proposed moving up closing time at bars by two hours. Bar owners are not happy. The city council on Tuesday introduced an ordinance that would require bars stop selling alcohol two hours sooner than they currently are allowed, a move Shreveport bar owners showed up Tuesday to protest. Billed as an effort to reduce the burden on a understaffed police force answering early morning issues, owners took issue with changes that ordinance revision would mean for their staffs' working hours, their businesses' bottom line and the fairness of disparity between downtown bars and those elsewhere.

Opening date for ALDI in Bossier City set
BOSSIER CITY, La. (KSLA) - The wait is almost over for shoppers in Bossier City who are anxious for a new, low-cost grocery store to open. The Bossier City ALDI now has an opening date.
