MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Cancer doesn’t discriminate by age today. Consider celebrities like Chadwick Boseman, who died from colon cancer; Olivia Munn, who recently underwent a double mastectomy; Ninja, a popular streamer on Twitch diagnosed with skin cancer; and Catherine, the Princess of Wales, who is currently being treated for the disease. All of them were diagnosed before the age of 50. The College of American Pathologists is emphasizing the importance of early detection, screening, and being vigilant regarding symptoms. Dr. Donald Karcher, president of the College of American Pathologists discusses this current phenomenon.

SEC Offensive Lineman Transferring to South Alabama
South Alabama continued to add help for the 2024 season through the transfer portal on Sunday when they received a commitment from Mississippi State transfer Jayden Hobson. Hobson (6-5, 295) is a native of Tuscaloosa who spent his first year of college football redshirting for the Bulldogs in 2023, not appearing in any games.
