It’s one of several sweat lodges on the tribe’s land, but this one is dedicated to helping people recover from addiction.

Racing at the 11th Annual River Fun Run
WASHBURN, PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Canoers, Kayakers, Bikers, and Runners alike all got the chance to race during the 11th annual Aroostook River Fun Run On Saturday. Along with spectators and participants, troop 177 was also there to assist those racing. Folks participating in the race received free T-shirts and got a chance to win different prizes. There were also some tips from some of the participants.
Horse Racing Returns to Presque Isle Downs on Monday
Live horse racing racing returns to Presque Isle Downs on Monday. It is the first of 76 racing days on the 2024 schedule; that's four fewer racing dates than last year. The post time will still be 3 p.m. That's a 2023 move the track will keep again this season.
