EARTH DAY 2024: Hard-to-recycle plastics program launches for 7 local counties
Rumpke Waste & Recycling and the Hefty ReNew program have announced the expansion of the Hefty ReNew program to the region. Hefty ReNew is a hard-to-recycle plastics recovery program for residents and businesses served by Rumpke Recycling to have a convenient way to divert more waste from landfill. The program is offered in seven counties, including Montgomery, Greene, Clinton, Clark, Miami, Darke and Preble.
ODOT weekly construction update
PREBLE COUNTY — The Ohio Department of Transportation recently released its weekly construction update for the week ending April 20. The following traffic advisory includes restrictions on the state highway system in Preble County. All work will be contingent upon the weather. Preble County deputies issue critical missing person alert for woman not seen since Friday
PREBLE COUNTY, Ohio — Preble County deputies have issued a critical missing person alert for a woman last seen Friday in Glenwood. Officials say Amy Evans, 49, was reported missing Friday evening. Preble County deputies say it is believed Evans was picked up near her residence, on Quaker Trace Road south of US 35, by a man in a mid-sized vehicle.
