A new speakeasy-themed bar on Evansville's Main Street isn't staying a secret
EVANSVILLE – Take a trip back to the Roaring 20s at Hush on Main, the new speakeasy-themed cocktail bar and restaurant on Main Street. Owner Brendon Meier and his business partner Staci Eddington painstakingly renovated the cozy downstairs location formerly occupied by High Score Saloon in all the opulent decadence of a Prohibition-era “supper club.” There’s a grand piano, chandeliers, lots of crimson velvet, dark wood, and ornate gold leaf. The first work in the overhaul of the Lloyd Expressway will start this month
EVANSVILLE – It's starting soon. On May 28, the long-looming overhaul of the Lloyd Expressway will begin on the far western end of the road. According to a Wednesday afternoon news release from the Indiana Department of Transportation, lane closures will kickoff from the Posey County line and stretch to Schutte Road.
