Eastern New Mexico University announces guest speakers for spring 2024 commencement

PORTALES, N.M. (KAMR/KCIT) — Eastern New Mexico University announced that the guest speaker for the spring 2024 commencement on May 11 will be Steve Loy, the president of Sportfive Americas and an ENMU alumni.

“We are honored to have Mr. Loy return home to ENMU as the commencement speaker for our 146th ceremony,” said James Johnston, ENMU Chancellor. “Mr. Loy’s personal story and his tremendous professional success are a true inspiration to the Eastern family. I certainly appreciate his willingness to share his experiences with the May 2024 graduating class.”

ENMU said Mr. Loy graduated from ENMU in 1973 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business and received a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Utah.
