Frost possible, rain looking likely for some Saturday
AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Unseasonably cool temperatures will linger across the southern Plains for the remainder of our week and weekend. Morning lows will fall into the 30s and low 40s for the next several mornings. A light frost or freeze will be possible for areas along and northwest of highway 54 in the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles tonight where temperatures are expected to fall to 34-37 degrees in pockets where cloud cover is not present tonight. While frost is not guaranteed, it cannot be ruled out.

Clovis teen arrested in weekend robbery, charged with aggravated assault
CLOVIS, N.M.– A 15-year-old was arrested on Saturday in connection with an armed robbery in Clovis, according to a press release from the Curry County Sheriff’s Office. CCSO said dispatch received a call Saturday Afternoon saying three male juveniles had approached him in a field while operating a piece of farming equipment near the intersection of Curry Road O and New Mexico State Road 245. Deputies learned that three other juveniles picked up the victims in black sedan, according CCSO’s press release.
