New trail in Tripp Township tells story
The Evelyn Goldberg Briggs Memorial Library, in partnership with the Iron River Fish Hatchery, has installed a story trail on the .57 Bobcat trail that is located about a quarter mile south of the intersection of Fairview and Weidenaar roads in Tripp Township of Bayfield County. The Bobcat trail can be used year-round by walkers, snowshoers and skiers. For the winter months, the Friends of the Iron River Fish Hatchery offer snowshoes free of charge to visitors. Northland College sees two more coaches resign
Two more coaches have resigned from their posts at Northland College. On Tuesday the school announced Jakob Wohlford is stepping down as their head men’s lacrosse coach. Wohlford departs after two years leading the Lumberjacks. He also played four seasons of lacrosse at Northland, and holds the record for most career points with 143 from 92 goals and 51 assists.
