GRATIOT COUNTY, Mich. (WJRT) - A 33-year-old man died at the scene of a rollover crash in Gratiot County early Wednesday. The Gratiot County Sheriff's Office says Matthew Hoffer was driving a pickup truck north on Barry Road in Elba Township around 6:10 a.m., when he failed to negotiate a curve leading to Grenlund Road and went off the roadway.

Owosso to receive $1.6M in MI Clean Water funds
OWOSSO, Mich. (WNEM) – The city of Owosso is receiving more than $1.6 million in MI Clean Water grants to help with the city’s water main replacement and pipe upsizing. The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) announced that more than $23 million was awarded to Michigan communities to upgrade water infrastructure across the state. The money was granted through the MI Clean Water Plan through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund, according to EGLE.
