Youth Mentor Spotlight: Mark Price
Mark and Renee Price moved to Lakeview in 1987. Mark initially heard about the Lake County Youth Mentor Program from the first director Kathy Miles. Renee, however, was the first to become a mentor in the Price household. When Renee’s mentee moved away, Mark picked up the mentor reins in 2019 after his retirement from the Lake County School District. Mark now mentors two high school boys who are brothers.
Dr. Patrick O’Grady will present archaeological program
Open to the public, Lake County Historical Society has been fortunate in obtaining Dr. Patrick O’Grady as guest speaker for their annual banquet on Saturday, May 18, held at the Eagles Lodge in Lakeview, Oregon. A buffet dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. with Patrick O’Grady’s program following immediately after. Tickets are priced at $20 each and are available at Lake County Chamber of Commerce.
