One dead after two-vehicle crash near Thief River Falls
PENNINGTON COUNTY, Minn. (Valley News Live) - One person has died and several others are hurt after a crash in Pennington County, Minnesota. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened at Center Street East and 310th Avenue SE, which is southeast of Thief River Falls. The crash report says a van was going east on Center Street and a car was south on 310th Avenue when they collided in the intersection.
Thief River Falls man convicted on possession charge
Alejandro Lee Lara, 25, Thief River Falls, was sentenced in Morrison County District Court to 39 months in a correctional facility and fined $50 for one felony count of third-degree possession of a controlled substance. One felony count of second-degree sale of a controlled substance was dismissed.
