Felony Alert Rapid City: Man wanted for two counts of rape
RAPID CITY, S.D. - A felony warrant has been issued for Amery Jeff Featherman for two counts of rape involving victims with physical or mental incapacities. Featherman is a 35-year old Native American male that stands around 6 feet 1 inch tall, and weighs about 200 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Tornado captured on video near Mud Butte, SD Monday afternoon
Joshua Tatman caught this tornado around 12:45 PM MST, just south of Mud Butte, SD... 30 miles ENE of Newell, SD. Thus far no damage and no injuries have been reported. This tornado appeared to "jump" several times as it moved northward towards Highway 212 and Northeastern Butte County - this means the tornado possibly receded back into the storm and then touched back down several times. The tornado warning was allowed to expire right as the storm approached Hoover, SD.

Republican Candidates to meet in Bison on May 10
Republican voters in Senate District 28 and House Districts 28A and 28B have choices to make in the upcoming primary on June 4, 2024. A candidate forum is scheduled for Friday, May 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the Elbert Bentley Memorial Building (Perkins County Fairgrounds) in Bison. The public is invited to attend. Names released in fatal Stanley County crash
FORT PIERRE, S.D. (KELO) — A man has been identified as a victim in a two-vehicle crash that happened Friday, April 12, two miles west of Fort Pierre. Lawrence Woodward, 81, of Dupree was driving his Chevrolet Silverado on US Hwy. 14 on Friday, April 12, at about 3:38 p.m. when his vehicle crossed into the oncoming lane, according to the South Dakota Department of Public Safety. The driver of a Dodge Ram was in the oncoming lane and attempted to swerve to avoid the Silverado but was unable to. Both vehicles collided on the passenger side of each truck.
