Check out the 4-H camps available for Coshocton County children
COSHOCTON − Coshocton County 4-H has opportunities for youth to learn, make connections and have fun this summer. Cloverbud Day Camp is for youth finishing kindergarten through those finishing second grade. It will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 8 at Lake Park, 23253 Ohio 83. The theme is Going on an Olympic Adventure. Participants will make crafts, play games and go swimming. Cost is free and includes lunch and snack. Registration is due to the Ohio State University Extension Office of Coshocton County by May 31. The Coshocton County Youth Financial Support Committee is sponsoring the program.
Newcomerstown News: Vendors sought for Second Saturday festivities on June 8
Newcomerstown Now members are preparing hanging flower baskets for downtown. They will be in place by June 8, for the Second Saturday event. Activities are 3 to 9 p.m. on Main Street, and include performances by Six Strings and A Fiddle – Mark Hardesty and Nancy Orr followed by Moonlyterz, a game based on Family Feud, vendors, children's activities, pulled port dinners and a beer garden.
