Roselle Varsity Softball Beats Plainfield, Ends 2-Game Winning Streak
ROSELLE, NJ- The Rams were dominant from start to finish in this contest, only needing five innings to achieve the mercy rule in a lopsided 15-0 victory over the Cardinals. The Roselle Rams Varsity Softball Team, fresh off the heels of a 16-0 loss on Monday, came ready to play in Tuesday’s contest at Plainfield High School. Her proficiency as a two-way player was once again on full display, with three hits in as many at-bats (all for extra bases) to go along with 5 RBIs and 2 stolen bases. As a team, the Rams recorded 13 hits on the afternoon. Lisa Frias, Janelle Stevens, and Julianie Marte recorded multiple hits, with the trio recording a combined 4 RBIs.
