PIKE COUNTY, Mo. (KHQA) — Two juveniles and an adult were injured in a crash on Saturday in Pike County, Mo. Around 1:50 p.m., a pickup driven by Harry Patrick, 65, was traveling eastbound on Highway 54 west of County Road 277. As he was negotiating a left turn crossing the westbound lane of Highway 54, a second pickup changed lanes to pass the first pickup, and the front of the second pickup struck the passenger side of the first pickup, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

A familiar face in Pike County Courtrooms has been named the county’s new top attorney. Current State’s Attorney Zachary Boren was named to a vacancy in the Eighth Judicial Circuit last month and is expected to assume the bench on Friday. No Injures in Chapin House Fire
Multiple departments responded to a residential fire in the Village of Chapin this morning. The Chapin Fire Department responded to the call just before 11:00 am Friday of a residential fire at 415 Ash Street. Chapin Fire Chief Scott Pahlmann says when his crews arrived on scene, fire was coming from a connecting breezeway and the garage directly behind the single-story home.
