The Age Friendly Oronoco committee looking to meet the need for the community
(ABC 6 News) – The Age Friendly committee held a resource fair Wednesday to help connect the aging community to social services that are available in the Oronoco area. “We put surveys out for our residents and then we did surveys of all of the different agencies that were available to them and found out that there is a need,” committee member Joy Bertsinger said.

Drivers injured in West Circle Dr. crash
ROCHESTER, Minn. - Rochester police say two drivers were injured in a crash on West Circle Dr. and 41st St. NW. The call came in to dispatch at 12:50 p.m. with a report of an injury accident. The inital investigation by police indicates a vehicle traveling north on West Circle Dr. making a left turn and a vehicle traveling south crashed. The southbound vehicle then hit a pole.

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Rochester Public Schools and the City of Rochester will share in $1.4 million in Safe Routes to Schools funding announced Thursday. Safe Routes to School is an international program to improve safety and reduce traffic congestion around schools.
