Rochester teen pleads not guilty to drug and gun crimes
ROCHESTER, Minn. – A not guilty plea is entered to drug and gun charges against a Rochester teen. Abdihakeem A. Hussein, 19, was pulled over on December 28, 2023 for not having a front license plate on his vehicle. A Rochester police officer who approached Hussein’s car after it stopped in the area of 6th Avenue and 9th Street SE says he noticed a shell casing in the vehicle and asked the driver to step out.
Fire and smoke damage office building at Rochester apartment complex
ROCHESTER, Minn. – Flames and smoke caused heavy damage to a building at the Innsbruck apartment complex. The Rochester Fire Department (RFD) says crews were called to the scene around 7:21 pm Tuesday on a report of garbage cans on fire. Firefighters say they arrived to find heavy fire and smoke coming from an office building and the materials behind the building. All occupants were reported to have escaped the fire.
