Brittany Ann Tranbaugh at Lansdowne Folk Club March 26
Lansdowne Folk Club presents Philadelphia based folk songwriter Brittany Ann Tranbaugh on. Brittany Ann Tranbaugh is a Philadelphia-based songwriter whose queer Americana heartbreaker “Kiss You” won Song of the Year in the 2021 John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Tranbaugh has been writing songs and playing shows as a side gig since she was a teenager, but in February 2023, at 31 years old, she finally quit her office job to pursue a full-time career in music. She has since released an EP and several singles, played over 300 shows, won first place in the Songwriter Serenade contest in Texas, and toured extensively supporting Carsie Blanton. Her next big plan is to record a full-length album (made possible by 400+ fans who backed her $25k album crowdfunding campaign) in the fall, which listeners can expect in late 2026. Find out more about her at brittanyanntranbaugh.com.

Philly’s top-rated Angelo’s Pizzeria replaces Pizzeria Bardea at DE.CO
One of the top-rated pizzerias in Philadelphia – so popular that the lines of customers have caused neighborhood grumbling – is coming to the First State. The Michelin-recognized Angelo's Pizzeria will replace Pizzeria Bardea in the DE.CO food hall in downtown Wilmington, coming five months after Angelo's opened a separate cheesesteak stall in the same market at 111 W. 10th St. Pizzeria Bardea closed in late February and a new pizza oven was brought in for the Angelo's pizzaiolos, who should start tossing dough and selling pizza by the end of March, Angelo's owner Danny DiGiampietro told Delaware Online/The News Journal. Full pies and (probably) slices coming In addition to a complete menu of full-size pies – 16-inch round, square, Grandma and upside-down – the Wilmington stall likely will be the first Angelo's location to also serve slices, DiGiampietro said. In addition to a full selection of toppings, specialty pies also will be on the menu with the dough coming from the same Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, facility that delivers dough to the flagship Angelo's Pizzeria in South Philadelphia's Bella Vista neighborhood. So why bring pizza to DE.CO and why now? "Customers were like, 'What the hell? Where's the pizza?' We're Angelo's
