IRON STRONG Athlete of the Week: Phillipsburg’s Cameron Bohal

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ - TAPinto Phillipsburg presents the next IRON STRONG Athlete of the Week for the Spring 2024 Season, Cam Bohal, sponsored by McWane Ductile .

Senior and two-sport athlete Cameron Bohal turned in a pair of personal best times in the hurdles in the 17 ^th Annual Red and Black Invitational at East Stroudsburg University on Saturday. He won the 300-meter hurdles in a time of 42.26 and finished second in the 110 hurdles in a time of 15.24.

Bohal was also a key component on defense during the fall for the football team, with a team-high 58 total tackles from his defensive back position.

“Cam had a great freshman season running hurdles but was injured the last two seasons and couldn’t compete,” boys track and field coach Brett Hyland said. “He’s back for his senior year, and he’s really dialed in. Cam is a competitor and I think he’s going to have a very successful season and surprise some people that may have forgot how talented he is after missing the last two seasons.”
