Food Bank RGV to knock out hunger tonight

PHARR, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — The Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley is knocking out hunger tonight with a produce distribution in Pharr.

The food distribution will feature special guest volunteers Brandon Heartbreaker Figeroa, Omar Panterita Figueroa and ChargedUp.

The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m., or until supplies lasts, May 16 at the Food Bank RGV, located at 724 N Cage Blvd. in Pharr.

The line for the food distribution will start at the south entrance of the food bank and run south on Cage Blvd. and then east on Bus. 83.

Food Bank RGV aims to feed 500 families from across the Rio Grande Valley.

Requirements for service are as follows:

• First come, first serve basis
• Bring a photo ID and proof of address
• Two people/two families maximum per car
• Your car trunk must be empty
• No unattended vehicles
• Do not block businesses
• Must obey traffic rules
• No line cutting
